The 3rd Annual Scotty Gomez Foundation 5K is coming up on Saturday, September 9th. Lace up your shoes, put on your favorite hockey jersey, and join the Gomez Foundation for 5k fun!

Participants can run or walk the course on Ship Creek Trail. All participants will be entered in a raffle and 60+ participants will win fabulous door prizes. 

The Scotty Gomez Foundation is dedicated to providing opportunities and assistance for youth hockey in Alaska. By taking part in this 5K run/walk and other Gomez Foundation events, you can help make hockey affordable to underprivileged youth of Alaska.

O’Malley Ice & Sports Center has ice and court time available.

A few people have asked us how they can find out what ice and court times are available and how to go about purchasing venue time for their organization or event. We have put together these instructions to help you out.

Step 1: Navigate to our home page at omalleysports.com.

Step 2: Select “Ice for Sale” or “Courts for Sale” under the Venue Availability tab.

Step 3: Select whether you would like to view the current day, week, or month at the top of the calendar.

Step 4: Hover your cursor over an available ice or court time to view details.

Step 5: Scroll to the bottom of the page for contact information for the appropriate representative to secure your court or ice time.
