Pond Hockey Information and Schedules
Pond hockey sessions are times when anyone meeting the age requirements for the session can come to the Kelly Connect Ice Center and play pick-up hockey. During these sessions, players will typically divide into two teams and play a scrimmage game if there are enough players. There are no referees present, and players usually do a good job of supervising themselves. The skill levels of players vary widely for these sessions, anywhere from novice to advanced.
The maximum number of players allowed per session is 20 skaters and 3 goalies. A session is considered closed when those numbers are reached. These sessions have age requirements and there are no exceptions made for players under age to play. Sign-In and payment will be taken at the kiosk in the lobby. Participants are required to sign-in and pay before getting on the ice. Full hockey equipment AND helmet are required. All players are to have at least a HALF SHIELD attached to their helmet for ADULT play. High School and Youth play requires a FULL SHIELD.
The cost per person is $10 a session. Sign-ups begin 45 minutes before the start time. Some sessions are age specific.
Please check the current schedule, listed below, for available sessions.
